I was tasked by Kendall College of Art and Design's director of facilities with making safety maps for all of the buildings on campus, and each room within that building. I had to work closely with the safety committee to make sure everything fit all standards and regulations, while also matching KCAD's existing style-guide. In total, I single-handedly created and produced over 250 maps. These maps included interior emergency routes, exterior emergency routes, and maps showing the location of important facility points of interest, including: - heat pumps - fire extinguishers - emergency lights - security panels - etc.
